This usually takes 10 to 40 seconds. We're only looking at what any visitor or search engine can see.
About this checker
What it looks at. Only public information: your homepage, robots.txt, sitemap, llms.txt and a handful of pages. It checks HTTPS and security headers, whether search engines and AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, CCBot) can reach your site, structured data, page basics, speed and analytics.
What it never does. It doesn't log in, fill in forms, scan ports or hunt for vulnerabilities. It makes about 15 requests, once per site per day.
How to spot it, or stop it. Visits come from a user-agent that starts with TelaLoomSiteCheck/1.0 and points back to this page. To stop us visiting, add these two lines to your robots.txt and we'll respect them:

Disallow: /What we keep. Your email, the address you checked and the result, so we can send the report and follow up if you ask us to. We don't add you to a mailing list unless you tick the optional box. Questions or want it deleted? Email [email protected].
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No charge, no obligation. If the check shows something worth fixing we'll say roughly what it would involve, and if it doesn't we'll say that too.
Why do you need my email?
So the report goes to you and nobody else, and so you have a copy. We email a 6-digit code first to confirm the address is yours. You only hear from us again if you reply, or if you ticked the optional tips box.
My site blocked the checker. What now?
That's common with bot protection. The report will say we couldn't see the page. It's also useful to know, because search engines and AI assistants may be turned away too. Ask us and we'll look at it by hand.
Does this replace a full audit?
No. It's a fast, honest first look at the basics. A full audit also uses Google Search Console data, your Google Business Profile and a deeper crawl. Get in touch if you'd like one.
