What “SEO & GEO” means here
SEO is the classic discipline: does Google understand your pages, index them correctly, and rank them for what they’re actually about. GEO (generative engine optimization) is the newer half — whether an AI answer engine can find your content, trust it, and quote it correctly when someone asks it a question your business can answer. Both run on the same underlying signal: structured, crawlable, unambiguous content. We treat them as one engagement, not two.
Packages
No cost, no obligation.
- Full technical SEO + GEO audit
- What AI crawlers can and can’t currently see
- How you show up in AI answers vs. your competitors
- Every piece of structured data checked

- One-day minimum
- A day is a fixed block of work with a defined result, not open-ended hours

We fix it. Shipped to code, not a report. Roughly four days of work — anything beyond this scope, like cleaning up an old site, is 1,222 AUD850 USD a day on top. Not the $5k–$15k-plus retainer agencies typically quote for the same audit-and-fix scope.

GEO (generative engine optimization)
This is what gets split into separate service names elsewhere — Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), LLM Optimization (LLMO), Google AI Overview optimization — we treat it as one connected discipline, not three retainers:
- Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools set up, sitemaps submitted and IndexNow switched on, because ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude and Gemini all answer from search indexes
- A check that Cloudflare or your host isn’t blocking AI search bots by default, which has been switched on for many small sites without the owner knowing
- Key content in plain HTML, not loaded by JavaScript, because most AI crawlers don’t run JavaScript
- AI-crawler-aware
robots.txtrules — explicit allow/deny for bots like GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot, instead of a generic block that hides you from all of them by accident - FAQPage schema written for direct-answer extraction, not just SEO snippet decoration
- Organization schema with clear, unambiguous entity facts an LLM won’t hallucinate around
- Content structure that’s quotable — direct answers near the top, not buried three paragraphs into marketing copy
- A read on how you currently show up in AI answers next to the businesses you actually compete with
- An
llms.txtfile, as a free extra rather than the main lever (see the FAQ below)
Real numbers from real audits
We run this exact audit-and-fix tooling continuously across our own live products, and every number below is an unedited pull from that audit log — not staged marketing copy.
LCP · signalreads.com
A shared image pipeline was saving AI-generated article images unresized. One fix recompressed 27 existing images in place — PSI performance score went 73 → 93 and homepage image weight dropped 92.8% (44MB → 3.2MB), same day.
AI-citation accuracy · focusshield.app
Caught llms.txt stating “no account required” while the site’s own FAQ schema said the opposite — exactly the kind of mismatch that gets a brand mis-cited by ChatGPT or Perplexity. Fixed so every surface agrees.
Portfolio-wide since 2026-07-04
Across our own 7 live products, tracked continuously by the same tooling. Average time from found to fixed: 12.2 days — three were fixed the same day they were caught.
Direct from AI chat · 10 of our own sites
Verified in our own analytics: 110 sessions since February, referred straight from a click inside ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini — not a projection, an actual click-through logged across 10 of our live products. This is what GEO done right looks like.
Found → fixed · telaloom.com
Our own llms.txt claimed 13 live products while the homepage said 17 — exactly the kind of AI-citation mismatch this service exists to catch. We audit ourselves with the same tooling, including this line.
Real traffic · Shuttersmith (client)
Verified in analytics, not projected: 520 real visits (as of 20 Sep 2026) since tracking began in July, and of those with an identifiable source, the large majority came from Google search. GEO (llms.txt) ships next — this number is Search only, and that’s all we’re claiming so far.

What a client says
“We engaged Andrew to have a look at our website,he explained what he needed to do and fixed everything and we our now getting lots more jobs through from.the internet traffic He also built a new website for a new branch of the business The work is fantastic and he absolutely nalied it Its about time we spent some money and got the return you hope for After several companies I have found the one I will be sticking with”
How the engagement works
Week one: audit
We crawl the site, check indexation in Search Console, validate every piece of structured data, check what AI crawlers can and can’t currently see, and score the content against what both search engines and answer engines actually reward. You get a prioritized list — ranked by impact versus effort, not a generic checklist.
Week two: fix
We implement the fixes directly — meta tags, schema, llms.txt, robots.txt, image optimization — either as a direct commit to your repo or through your CMS. You get a running diff of what changed, not a document someone else has to action.
Week three (if needed): verify
We confirm re-indexation in Search Console, validate every piece of structured data against Google’s and schema.org’s tooling, and re-check AI crawler access logs to confirm the bots we opened the door to are actually coming through.
What actually gets you cited by AI assistants
There’s a lot of GEO advice that doesn’t hold up. This is what the evidence supports, strongest first:
- Being in the search indexes AI assistants use. Gemini and Google’s AI answers use Google’s index, Copilot uses Bing, ChatGPT leans heavily on Bing plus its own crawler, and Claude uses Brave. If you’re not indexed and ranking, you’re rarely cited.
- Not blocking AI search bots. OpenAI, Anthropic and Perplexity each say blocking their search bot reduces or removes citations. Training bots are a separate choice.
- What other sites say about you. Mentions of your business on other sites track AI visibility more closely than anything you put on your own site (Ahrefs, 75,000 brands). So do reviews, directory listings and “best X in Y” lists.
- Content AI crawlers can read and quote. Plain HTML, direct answers near the top, real numbers and specifics, kept up to date.
- Structured data, as a tidy-up, not a lever. Schema is still worth having for Google’s rich results and clear business facts, but studies haven’t shown it lifts AI citations.
We measure it with Google Search Console’s AI performance report, Bing Webmaster Tools’ AI citations report and AI-assistant referral traffic in your analytics, and by re-running the same set of questions in the assistants over time. Single answers vary from run to run, so we report the trend, not one screenshot.
What you get
- A written audit — prioritized by impact versus effort, not a wall of generic recommendations.
- Fixes shipped to code — not a report you then have to hire someone else to implement.
- AI search bots let in —
robots.txt, Cloudflare and hosting checked so ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Copilot can actually reach your site, and the site submitted to Google and Bing. - Schema markup — FAQPage, Organization, Product, or BreadcrumbList, wherever it’s missing or broken.
- Before/after documentation — exactly what changed and why, so your team can maintain it going forward.
Why this pairs well with a product build or retrofit
If we already built or retrofitted your product, this is the fastest possible add-on — same codebase, same team, zero onboarding. If we didn’t build it, we still run the audit; we just need repo or CMS access so we can ship fixes directly instead of handing you a document that sits in someone’s inbox.
What this service is not
It’s not a link-building or content-farm SEO retainer, and it’s not a promise of a #1 ranking — nobody can promise that honestly. We fix what’s structurally broken and measurably wrong on your site, and we tell you plainly when there’s nothing more useful left to do.
Frequently asked questions
What is GEO (generative engine optimization)?
Getting your business cited correctly when someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or Gemini a question you can answer. AI assistants answer from search indexes (Google, Bing and Brave), so it’s driven by being indexed there, letting AI search bots in, content that answers questions directly, and what other sites, reviews and listings say about you — not by backlinks. More on what the evidence supports.
Does llms.txt help you get cited by AI?
Not on current evidence. Google says its Search ignores llms.txt, no other AI search provider has said it reads one, and a log study of 137,000 domains found AI search bots almost never request it. Our own logs agree: across our sites, ClaudeBot made over 15,000 requests in five months and asked for llms.txt once. We still add one because it takes minutes and some coding tools read it, but we don’t sell it as the thing that gets you cited.
What does the audit actually cover?
Meta tags, canonicals, OG images, sitemap/robots.txt, page speed, and schema markup on the SEO side; llms.txt, AI-crawler rules, and FAQ/Organization schema on the GEO side. See the full list above.
How long does it take?
1–3 weeks for most sites, depending on size and how we get access — a direct repo commit is fastest.
How much does it cost?
Audit is free. Setup is 3,880 AUD2,700 USD one-off for single-template sites, or 7,760 AUD5,400 USD for e-commerce, multi-language, or larger template counts. After that, three optional monthly plans: Monitor (432 AUD/mo300 USD/mo, monitoring and a report only), Growth (1,006 AUD/mo700 USD/mo, adds a monthly optimization pass), and Scale (2,012 AUD/mo1,400 USD/mo, adds new pages and a quarterly strategy call).
Is this a one-time fix or an ongoing retainer?
Setup is a one-time audit-and-fix by default. If it’s useful, one of three optional monthly plans (Monitor 432 AUD/mo300 USD/mo, Growth 1,006 AUD/mo700 USD/mo, or Scale 2,012 AUD/mo1,400 USD/mo — cancel anytime) covers ongoing monitoring and updates — no lock-in either way.
Can you guarantee a #1 ranking?
No, and anyone who promises that isn’t being straight with you. We fix what’s structurally broken and measurably wrong, and give you an honest read on what’s left to do after that.
